Dr. Heather Minkel

Dr. Minkel has an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Central Michigan University, a PhD in neurobiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. Dr. Minkel has professional experiences in medical research, emergency care, and preventative medicine. Heather brings her special interests in neurology, animal behavior, and teaching. She loves the landscapes of northern Michigan and can be found outside in all seasons exploring with her German Wirehaired Pointer, Argyle
